Brian Kosobucki, MD
Dr. Kosobucki received his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduating with Highest Distinction. He attended medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Dr. Kosobucki completed his internship and residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and served as chief resident his final year. Following residency, Dr. Kosobucki completed his two-year vitreoretinal fellowship in 2004 at the University of California at San Diego.
Dr. Kosobucki lectures for various society meetings and has appeared on televised public health educational programs. He has co-authored two chapters in current retinal textbooks and has been published in respected ophthalmic journals. Dr. Kosobucki resides in North Raleigh with his wife and 2 daughters and enjoys Apple computers, college and professional sports, and weight training/general fitness.
